Folk music and opera. Traditional shielings and industrial history. 180 museums. Ballet and folk dance. Artists’ homes and art exhibitions on the Internet. Open-air theatre and culture training for the youngest children.
Dalarna’s culture covers a very broad field, where old art forms and new means of expression meet. To encompass the whole of the rich culture of Dalarna here is, of course, an impossible task but this is an attempt to present a selection of the enormous variety existing here.
